GALAX is an older brand that has been around since 2003. Originally known as "Galaxy," the company sold custom-design GeForce 400 series graphics cards with a distinct deep blue color for the PCB and coolers sourced from Zalman. In China, GALAX is celebrating its 20th anniversary by launching a special edition graphics card called the 20th Anniversary Edition, which is based on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ada.
The 20th Anniversary Edition card has a unique all-white design and an interesting cooler airflow system. It is only 2 slots thick and features a slim aluminium fin-stack heatsink. Two of the three fans are located on the front side of the card, while the third fan is on the back side, blowing air outward through the heatsink. This design is similar to NVIDIA's dual-axial flow-through cooler found in some of its Founders Edition cards. The card is powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power connector, which is hidden behind a magnetic cover. It also comes with factory overclocked speeds, reaching a maximum boost of 2610 MHz compared to the reference speed of 2475 MHz (+5.5%). The pricing for the card has not been disclosed by the company.
