Intel's "Arrow Lake" Core Ultra 200 series CPUs are set to be officially announced on October 10, with the review embargo and official retail launch scheduled for October 24. Today, we have a sneak peek at some of the upcoming motherboards that will power the Core Ultra 200 CPUs, based on the Z890 chipset.
Thanks to VideoCardz, we have access to pictures of ASUS high-end motherboards and details about some of the common features that will be found on these boards. Expect to see a robust VRM configuration, new color schemes, GPU slot reinforcement, M.2 release mechanisms, WiFi 7, and Thunderbolt 4 support.
Leaked pricing information suggests that ASUS ROG Maximus boards may be priced higher than the highest-end Core Ultra 9 285K SKU. Additionally, there will be more budget-friendly "Prime" series motherboards available. Here is a list of the leaked ASUS boards:
